Montana State Fair officials have announced that The Four Tops will perform at the 2019 fair “It’s All Good, in the 406.”

The group will perform on Sunday, July 28 in the Pacific Steel and Recycling Arena.

The quartet, originally called the Four Aims, made their first single for Chess in 1956 and spent seven years on the road and in nightclubs singing pop, blues, Broadway, but mostly jazz-four-part harmony jazz.

A press release states their first Motown hit, “Baby I Need Your Loving” in 1964 made them stars and their sixties track record on the label is indispensable to any retrospective of the decade.

Other songs include “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch),” “Reach Out I’ll Be There,” and “Standing In The Shadows Of Love.”

The Montana State Fair runs from July 26 through August 3.

The arena rock band Hairball will take the stage Tuesday, July 30 while country musician Trace Adkins will perform Wednesday, July 31.

Tickets will go on sale soon. For more information, click here.
