Arena rock band Hairball coming to Montana State Fair

The Montana State Fair has announced the arena rock band Hairball will perform at the 2019 fair “It’s All Good, in the 406.”

Hairball will take the stage on Tuesday, July 30 in the Pacific Steel and Recycling Arena.

Hairball is a rock and roll experience with lights, smoke, fire, confetti, and video screens.

Vocalists Bobby, Kris Vox, and Joe Dandy lead the band and pay homage to acts such as Van Halen, KISS, Journey, Queen, and Aerosmith.

Hairball is celebrating its 19th year of playing across the country. A press release states Hairball is not to be confused with other “80s Tribute” bands.

(January 22, 2018) The Montana State Fair has announced its first performer for the 2019 fair “It’s All Good, in the 406.”

Trace Adkins, a country musician, will take the stage Wednesday, July 31 in the Pacific Steel and Recycling Arena.

Adkins has sold 11 million albums, received Grammy nominations, and CMT and ACM awards. The Louisiana native is a Grand Ole Opry member.

Some of his songs include, “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” and “Arlington.”

In a press release, the 57-year-old said he is fired up to be back on the road.

“I get a kick out of it. I still enjoy the camaraderie, the band of brothers, your crew and your band. I’m an old jock. I like team sports,” he said.
