A tight pressure gradient and passing weather system will only increase the wind Sunday morning.

Due to the strong wind, a High Wind Warning will remain in effect through Sunday.

Gusts in North Central Montana will continue to flirt with 100 mph on Sunday morning.

The wind will help to keep temperatures in the 40s and 50s for nearly all of the state.

Some mountain snow is possible with a few showers into the foot hills on Sunday as well.

Arctic air is on tap to invade the state this next week.

This will drop daytime highs to the 20s by Wednesday.

Snow is also likely as this cold air moves in.

The later half of the week will offer up the best potential for snow.
