Fire weather continues throughout the state on Wednesday.
Daytime high temperatures are expected to reach the mid 80s for most.
A passing cold front will help to keep the wind brisk this afternoon and increase the cloud cover.
Wind gusts between 20 and 30 mph are likely with the passage of this front.
Due to the wind and low humidity percentages, a Fire Weather Warning is expected to remain in effect through this evening.
Much cooler temperatures will settle in over the next few days.
Daytime highs will remain in the upper 70s and low 80s through Saturday.
A strong high pressure ridge is on track to build again next week.
This pressure system will keep the skies clear and push temperatures into the 90s.
