A few passing weather disturbances will bring heavy snow to the mountains and strong wind to Central Montana.
Snow is expected to remain primary confined to the mountains on Tuesday, however a few break away showers are not out of the question.
Any moisture that does spill into our area will likely fall as rain.
The main concern through Wednesday will be the very strong wind as wind gusts in upwards of 60 mph are likely throughout our area.
Although not as pressing, another concern we're facing is an ice jam on the Missouri near Great Falls.
This ice blockage is causing rising water levels along River Drive near Broadwater Bay.
Caution should also be used if recreating on the Rivers Edge Trail or at Elks Riverside Park.
