What a warm up!

Warmer weather is expected to continue next week

Everyone is a little bit warmer Sunday, and some of us are much warmer!

Compared to Saturday some of us have seen our temperatures increase by as much as 40 degrees, and temperatures have climbed into the 40s!

It's still pretty cold on parts of the Hi-Line though, with temperatures only in the single digits reported.

Fortunately, the warmer air will continue to spread across the area Monday.

Highs in the 20s and 30s are expected along the Hi-line, with 40s, and even 50s, for the rest of North Central Montana.

Monday starts out sunny, with clouds increasing into the afternoon.

Despite the improvement in our weather, we are still tracking a few hazards.

For one, very cold winds chills are expected in Northeast Montana Sunday night, with a Wind Chill Advisory in effect for Daniels and Sheridan County.

We're also seeing some strong winds along the Rocky Mountain Front, and blowing and drifting snow may be an issue, especially between Browning and East Glacier.

Above freezing temperatures will bring changes to our flooding situation as well.

Existing ice jams may break up, and new ice jams may form.

Ice jam flooding is unpredictable, but we'll continue to monitor water levels over the coming days.
