Wednesday starts off cold

Many spots fall below zero overnight

We're still tracking a few snow showers Tuesday afternoon, but skies are starting to clear.

That's a trend we expect to continue overnight.

With clearing skies, temperatures will fall quickly.

By Wednesday morning most of us will be in the single digits, or even below zero.

Temperatures will be especially cold in Northeast Montana.

Winds chills down to -30 are possible in parts of Phillips County, as well as Valley, Daniels, Roosevelt, and Sheridan County, where a Wind Chill Advisory will be in effect Tuesday night through Wednesday morning.

Fortunately, with lots of sunshine in the forecast for Wednesday, temperatures will begin to climb again.

Expect highs in the mid 30s for most of Central Montana, with some cooler readings to the north and east.

Temperatures look even warmer to close out the work week, as breezy winds return.
