We've got some good news for vacationers and stargazers in the forecast.
After a few evening showers Friday, Labor Day Weekend is looking very nice.
Skies will be sunny Saturday and Sunday, and there will be just a few passing showers on Labor Day. Temperatures will be nice and warm too, with highs ranging from the lower 80s to near 90 over the weekend.
On top of the nice, summer-like weather, we'll also have a chance to see the Northern Lights!
The latest NOAA Space Weather forecasts bring a moderate geomagnetic storm to Earth over the weekend that has the potential to produce a nice aurora Saturday night, and possibly Sunday as well. However, space weather forecasts are notoriously difficult, so you'll definitely want to check for updates before you grab your camera and head out Saturday night.
