We're tracking a few snow showers Monday afternoon.
We may see a few more of those on Tuesday, but the bigger concern will be strong winds returning to North Central Montana.
Winds will start to pick up Monday night along the Rocky Mountain Front, and by Tuesday morning for the rest of North Central Montana.
Winds will gust as high as 60 miles per hour along the Rocky Mountain Front, with gusts up to 40 miles per hour farther east.
While on the strong side, gusts Tuesday are not expected to be damaging.
They could, however, create areas of blowing and drifting snow following this weekend's snowfall.
Blowing and drifting snow can sharply reduce visibility, and lead to hazardous travel.
On a positive note, the strong winds will be warming us up.
Highs will be in the mid 30s to lower 40s Tuesday, after a chilly morning with temperatures in the teens.
The warm up will be short-lived however, and a cold front will move in Tuesday night, dropping our temperatures, and bringing some snow showers to the area.
