An upper level disturbance located in Canada will clip Montana this afternoon and evening.
Best chances of seeing showers and storms will be along the Canadian border, but some moisture can also clip central portions of the state.
Some storms have the chance of producing some small hail and gusty winds. Most storms will stay non-severe.
Temperatures a litter cooler tomorrow with some light breezy conditions at times.
Another disturbance on Thursday will bring some moisture to mostly southwest Montana.
Friday, temperatures will drop even more, as a Canadian cold front sweeps down into the state.
Moisture will follow the front, bringing more shower and storm possibility Friday through Saturday morning.
Sunday we’ll start to see a shift in patterns as high pressure ridging starts to build. Temperatures will start increasing, drying out any fuel pretty quickly.
We’ll keep our eye on the chances for fire conditions during this period.
