Another wave of mostly light snow is expected

We're tracking strong winds and areas of light snow Tuesday afternoon.

The winds will be dying down this evening.

The snow will be staying overnight.

Our current wave of snow is drifting east, but another wave will move in from the north Tuesday night into early Wednesday.

The snow will mostly be light, but our local mountains, and places near the mountains like Lewistown, will get several inches of accumulation.

Winter Weather Advisories are in effect ahead of the overnight snow.

The snow showers will be moving in with a cold front, which will be dropping our temperatures.

Highs Wednesday will range from the single digits in Northeast Montana, to as warm as the lower 30s near Helena.
