Good afternoon everyone!
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for many of us starting Tuesday at noon and lasting through Wednesday night at 9 p.m.
They say a Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
The government agency says fires can ignite quickly and easily, and spread rapidly under these dry and breezy conditions.
The driest conditions for Great Falls will be around 5:30 p.m. and for Helena will be around 6:30 p.m.
