Nicer weather is coming soon!

For now though, cool, cloudy, rainy, and even snowy weather is still in control over the state of Montana.

Most of our area hasn't seen too much in the way of rain so far Friday, but we will have additional chances for rain Friday night into Saturday morning.

In that same time frame heavy snow is expected to continue to fall in Southwest Montana.

There, a Winter Weather Advisory and a Winter Storm Warning are in effect until early Saturday.

Over a foot of snow may fall on some of the higher peaks.

We could see some snow in the Little Belts and Big Belts too, but little to no accumulation is expected.

By Saturday afternoon, we'll begin to dry out, and sunshine will start to move in.

Highs will be mainly in the low to mid 60s, with a few 70s to the north on Saturday.

Sunday looks like a beautiful day.

Highs will be in the 70s, with lots of sun!
