After a stretch of dangerously cold air, we finally have most areas getting above zero on Monday. There is one catch though; we have to get through one more night of below zero lows with dangerous wind chills.
A minor disturbance on Monday will give us the opportunity for some scattered snow showers, but accumulations are expected to generally be less than an inch. Nonetheless, we'll keep an eye on conditions as they occur.
Temperatures will continue to moderate as we head into the work week for the entire viewing area. Wind may still be a concern towards the end of the week, but the exact timing and strength is still something we're monitoring. Overall, we're returning to a more average weather pattern for this time of year, which will feel great after such a bitterly cold period.
