Gradual clearing starts Monday morning

Good evening everyone.

Snow will continue to fall through the early morning hours with an additional 1 to 3 inches possible in many locations.

We still have a Blizzard and Winter Storm Warning for our viewing area.

A Blizzard Warning remains in effect due to additional snow accumulations with winds gusting up to 45 mph. The Warning adds that there is a chance that 3 to 8 inches of snow with higher amounts could fall in Blaine and Hill Counties.

The good news is that the snow will quickly taper off as the early morning hours wane on.

A high pressure builds into the area allowing for the clouds to break a part. By around 6 p.m., many of us will see mostly clear skies as we settle in for another cold night.

Temperatures unfortunately won't get above freezing Monday but we will be able to see some sun!
