There is a chance for an isolated severe thunderstorm today with the main threats being damaging wind gusts and frequent lightning.
This is all thanks to a cold front that is making its way through the Treasure State.
Showers and thunderstorms will kick up in the atmosphere as the cold front moves through.
We can't rule out a strong thunderstorm or severe thunderstorm as we head towards the midnight hour.
The cold front will move through the Electric City around 6 a.m. and will be knocking on Helena's door around that time.
How much rain could we get though?
There will be higher amounts of precipitation with thunderstorms as they move over land.
