High winds and areas of heavy snow are expected.
A High Wind Watch, High Wind Warning, and Winter Storm Warning are all in effect for parts of North Central Montana Tuesday and Wednesday.
Winds will gusts as high as 80s miles per hour along the Rocky Mountain Front, and up to 60 miles per hour as far east as Great Falls.
Snow will begin along the Divide on Tuesday, and will remain mainly in the mountains as moisture pushes east Wednesday.
Up to a foot of snow will be possible near Marias Pass in the northern Rockies, with King's Hill Pass in the Little Belt Mountains seeing as much as eight inches.
Scattered rain showers will be possible at lower elevations on Wednesday.
Temperatures will be too warm to support snow at lower elevations, with highs in the 30s and 40s both Tuesday and Wednesday.
