High Wind Warning/Watch and Fire Weather Warning

Good evening!

Tomorrow will be a very windy day across the state.

70 to 80 mph wind gusts will be possible in Cut Bank. 60 to 70 mph wind gusts will be possible in Conrad, Whitlash, and Inverness. 50 to 60 mph wind gusts will be possible for Choteau, Augusta, Loma, Hays, Turner, and Great Falls, etc. 30 to 35 mph wind gusts will be possible for Helena, Lewistown, and White Sulphur Springs, etc.

A High Wind Warning is in effect from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.

A High Wind Watch is in effect from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday.

A Fire Weather Warning is in effect from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday.

The best chance to see rain Thursday will be in western Montana; however, a better chance for central and north central Montana to see rain will be on Friday and Saturday.
