More hot, dry weather is in the forecast.
Temperatures Wednesday will be near 90 degrees, with very low humidity, and sunny skies.
In addition, a dry cold front will be sweeping through the state, boosting winds as high as 30 miles per hour.
All of these conditions will come together to significantly increase fire danger, and a Red Flag Warning will be in effect for much of the state Wednesday afternoon and evening.
Fortunately winds calm down Thursday, and rain and cooler temperatures await us in the extended forecast, so the window for increased fire danger will be brief.
