There's quite a bit going on in our weather this Monday!

Most notably, winds have been gusty, with gusts over 50 miles per hour recorded in parts of the area.

Winds will stay strong through Monday night.

On Tuesday, winds will die down in the western half of the area, but remain strong to the east.

Because of the strong winds, a Fire Weather Watch is in effect for parts of Eastern Montana on Tuesday.

Getting away from the wind, we're also tracking the chance for some thunderstorms Monday evening.

Showers and storms are likely to develop in the late afternoon, with isolated, mostly weak storms lingering through the evening.

No severe weather is expected, but gusty winds and small hail are possible.

Skies clear our in the wake of the storms, and we'll be left with beautiful sunshine for Tuesday!

In addition, temperatures will be very comfortable, in the 60s across the area.
