Fall quickly turning to Winter

Big changes come this weekend

Monday is the first day of Fall!

We’ll get at least a little bit of Fall weather before things start to really change.

Tuesday looks a lot like what we’ve seen so far Monday.

It’s going to be another mild, windy day, with gusts over 30 miles per hour.

Winds will calm down Wednesday, as temperatures remain near normal.

A series of cold fronts and a large upper level trough will then begin to pull our weather toward winter.

Chances for rain start up Thursday, and that rain will eventually turn to snow, even at lower elevations, by the weekend.

It’s still too early to talk about how much snow we may see, but models show good agreement that snow will be possible Saturday, Sunday, and even Monday, so it’s definitely not too early to think about preparing for winter weather.
