Monday has been windy, but fairly warm.
Tuesday will not be warm at all.
A cold front swinging through out of Canada will bring winter weather back to the forecast.
The front will begin to progress into the North Central Montana Tuesday morning, and will have pushed through by the evening.
Temperatures will be falling through the day Tuesday, and many of us will be near, or even below, freezing by 6 PM.
The front will bring us rain and snow too.
Rain can be expected in the early afternoon, but it will quickly change over to snow.
Many spots will not see significant accumulation, but accumulating snow, and even heavy snow is expected at our near higher elevations.
This means places like the Rocky Mountain Front, Helena, Great Falls, and Lewistown will be adding some fresh snow.
There is still some uncertainty regarding snowfall amounts.
Check back for updates, but be prepared for winter weather.
