Winds have been very strong Sunday!
Gusts have been close to 100 miles per hour on the Rocky Mountain Front.
Winds will slowly die down through the night, and we'll be left with just a bit of a breeze Monday.
Monday will be another mild day, with lows in the 30s and 40s, and highs in the 50s!
Western Montana will see quite a bit of cloud cover, with sunnier skies expected to the east.
By Monday evening our next weather system will bring a mix of rain and snow to parts of the state.
We'll continue to see rain and snow through the day on Tuesday and lingering snow Tuesday night into Wednesday.
The mix of rain and snow could mean very icy roads as this next system rolls through.
Some spots are likely to see some heavy snow as well.
The Rocky Mountain Front is under a Winter Storm Watch for Tuesday, and accumulations of 6 to 12 inches will be possible.
A band of heavier snow will likely set up east of the Front as well, bringing as much as 6 inches of snow, but models remain remain split on where the heaviest snow will set up.
This means confidence in the snowfall forecast is low at this time.
