Mild weather remains in the forecast for Friday night and Saturday.
That's good news for anyone hoping to attend the Christmas Stroll in Great Falls Friday evening!
Overnight lows will range from the upper 20s to mid 30s Friday night.
Highs Saturday will be in the lower to mid 40s, with gusty winds.
By Saturday evening a cold front will begin to move through North Central Montana.
This cold front will bring us snow, and possibly a wintry mix at times, starting Saturday night, and lasting through Sunday.
Places like Havre may receive as much as 6" of snow from the storm, with just a few inches expected in Helena and Great Falls.
Even where snow is lighter, it will be enough to make roads slippery, and bands of heavy snow may reduce visibility.
The snow will add on to what has already been a record breaking year in places like Cut Bank (96" of snow), Choteau (110.7" of snow) and Great Falls (119.3" of snow).
