High pressure will be the main talking point this week, allowing for mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures.

Monday will offer up highs in the low 60s with somewhat stronger wind.

Gusts around 20 to 30 mph are likely throughout Central Montana.

Temperatures will continue to climb as Wednesday rolls around.

Despite the relatively mild start to the week, there are a few hiccups to point out.

Pacific moisture will meet up with colder Canadian air Wednesday afternoon.

These combining systems will kick off a few showers and thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon.

Lingering showers are likely on Thursday with highs remaining in the high 50s.

A strong high pressure ridge will begin to build on Friday.

This will help to push temperatures back into the mid 60s by next weekend.
