Mild temperature and less wind will take us into the new work week.
The mild temperatures are thanks in part to a passing warm front.
This warm front will kick off a few morning showers for a good portion of Central Montana.
The mountains will likely remain cold enough to see a few flurries.
Skies will clear this afternoon and conditions will remain very mild tonight with lows in the low 30s.
The first of two cold fronts will move through the state on Tuesday.
The wind is expected to become a bit gusty with the passage of this first cold front.
Some snow is also likely, however the accumulation is looking rather light.
Most areas in Central Montana will have picked up 1 to 3 inches of snow once its all said and done.
Daytime highs are expected to remain in the mid 30s on Tuesday.
Still colder air will follow the second front which is on track to settle in Tuesday evening.
This will allow for the overnight lows to fall to the teens and 20s.
The colder air will be short lived as a strong high pressure system begins building on Wednesday.
This high pressure system will allow for temperatures to reach the high 30s and low 40s.
The windy and warm weather conditions are expected to take us through Christmas.
Our next weather maker looks to move in on Saturday, offering up another round of snow.
