Temperatures trend well below average and rain returns

Following a cooler than average weekend, temperatures will continue to trend below normal.

Cloudy skies will give way to a few spotty showers throughout the day Monday.

The wind will be a bit breezy at times as our next weather maker heads our way.

More widespread rain is expected overnight with snow along the Rocky Mountain Front.

Portions of Glacier and Pondera counties will have a Winter Weather Advisory go into effect Monday evening.

This area could see up to five inches of snow.

Some lingering rain is likely on Tuesday with a few spotty showers continuing throughout the afternoon.

Skies are on track to clear and temperatures will gradually warm through Thursday.

A few thunderstorms are likely on Friday with slightly cooler temperatures.

The weekend is shaping up to be mild with highs in the low 70s.
