Following a nice boost in temperatures, cool and rainy conditions are on track to return to Montana.

A strong low pressure system will begin to make its way into Montana on Tuesday.

This will allow for cooler air to slide into the state.

Daytime highs on Tuesday are expected to remain in the low 60s for most of Central Montana.

The Eastern Plains will likely hit the 80s.

Along with the cooler air, this system will draw a decent amount of Pacific Moisture our way.

Rain accumulation around a tenth to a twentieth of an inch is likely through this evening.

A few spotty showers can't be ruled out Wednesday, however much less rain is expected.

Thursday will present a much better chance for more widespread showers once again.
