Morning showers will taper off allowing for daytime highs to reach the low 70s.

Afternoon instability will help to kick off another round of rain and thunderstorms.

A few of these storms may be a bit stronger in nature and produce small hail, heavier rain, and a few cracks of thunder.

The strongest storms are anticipated to track just south of Great Fall and travel through Lewistown.

Skies will clear overnight however temperatures will remain a bit cooler on Friday.

Highs are expected in the low to mid 60s to wrap up the work week.

Saturday will offer up mild conditions with highs in the high 60s and low 70s.

Another round of afternoon thunderstorms is likely on Sunday.
