Strong high pressure has begun to take over Montana, allowing for temperatures to reach the high 80s and low 90s.
Sunny skies and slightly breezy conditions will accompany the hot temperatures on Thursday.
A weak cold front is still on track to pass through the state on Friday.
This front will have very little impact in our area; mainly allowing for slightly cooler weather this weekend.
The sunny and dry weather will continue on Saturday, but as mentioned temperatures will trend a bit cooler.
A quick shot of energy will allow for a few storms on Sunday.
Most of these storms are expected to remain along the Hi-Line and in Eastern Montana.
Temperatures are on track to climb significantly next week.
An even stronger ridge of high pressure is on track to move in on Wednesday.
This pressure system is expected to drive temperatures well into the 90s later next week.
