Tuesday is shaping up to be a mild one with temperatures climbing almost 20 degrees above average.

Most of Montana will enjoy daytime highs well into the 40s and even a few 50s.

The Hi-Line will remain a bit cooler, with highs in the high 30s.

A weak cold front is on track to pass through the state late this afternoon and overnight.

This system will allow for a few mountain flurries and possibly a few rain showers in the plains.

Following the passage of this system, temperatures will trend slightly cooler on Wednesday and Thursday.

High pressure is on track to rebuild as we enter the weekend allowing for daytime highs to once again reach the the high 40s.
