Temperatures continue to climb as high pressure rebuilds

Tuesday morning forecast with Jason Laird

Building high pressure will allow for clear skies and warmer temperatures on Tuesday.

As this ridge rebuilds, breezy conditions will also continue.

Wind gusts aren't expected to exceed 20 mph for most of our area.

Temperatures will continue to climb and eventually peak on Thursday.

Highs well into the 80s and early 90s are likely at this point in the week.

A weak weather disturbance will break this ridge down slightly on Friday.

A few spotty showers are possible with the passage of this system.

Temperatures will gradually cool through the weekend, with Sunday presenting the best chance for a few storms.
