Strong high pressure will be the main talking point this week in terms of the forecast.

Temperatures are on track to climb well above average on Monday and Tuesday.

Breezy conditions will accompany the warmer temperatures, however the wind gusts are expected to remain below 30 mph.

Most of the state will enjoy daytime highs well into the 40s.

The Hi-Line and Northeastern Montana will hold onto some colder air for a few more days before finally warming with the rest of the state.

A weak weather disturbance will pass through the state on Wednesday.

This will drop temperatures slightly and open the door fore a few mountain flurries and spotty showers in the plains.

Temperatures will rebound as we near the weekend, trending toward the high 40s.
