Strong wind and cooler than average temperatures will take over Montana early this week.
Wind gusts around 20 to 30 mph are likely for a good portion of the state on Monday.

At this point no High Wind Alerts have been issues as the wind is expected to let up later in the day.
Colder air and more rain will filter in this evening.
A few cracks of thunder and some small hail are possible.
Storms are expected to stick around through Wednesday.
A few scattered thunderstorm are possible on Thursday and Friday as temperatures begin to warm.
Daytime highs are expected to return to the 70s and 80s this weekend.
