High pressure will once again take over the state as we near the weekend.
A few heavy bands of rain will continue to impact Eastern Montana early on Thursday.
These storms are expected to move out around the noon hour.
Temperatures will be much more on track with average on Thursday.
The low 70s are expected for Central Montana.
A weak passing cold front on Friday may bring a few showers to the Hi-Line.
We'll see a gradually warming trend through the weekend, with high temperatures peaking on Sunday.
Next week is expected to start out dry with temperature in the mid to high 70s on Monday.
