Following a mild weekend in Big Sky Country, temperatures will remain on track with average to start out the work week.

The only downfall is strong winds are expected to kick up on Monday and last through Tuesday.

Gusts up to 50 mph are not out of the question especially along the Rocky Mountain Front.

Temperatures will begin to cool on Wednesday as our next weather system approaches.

Rain is on track to return on Thursday eventually transitioning to a wintry mix on Friday.

Overnight lows on Thursday are on track to fall below freezing.

With that said there is a possibility the week will wrap up with some snow accumulation.
