Hot, dry, and windy weather takes over Montana on Tuesday and Wednesday.

These weather elements will increase the already high fire concerns throughout the state.

A Fire Weather Warning has been issued and is expected to remain in effect through Wednesday evening.

Temperatures are on track to reach the low to mid 90s today.

Colder air will move into the state on Wednesday.

This will allow for temperatures to remain in the low to mid 80s.

The wind however will continue throughout the day Wednesday.

A few spotty showers can't be ruled out as this colder air mass moves in, however most areas should remain dry.

The cooler temperatures look to stick around through Saturday.

Another high pressure ridge is on track to build on Sunday.

If this system plays out as expected it will push temperatures back into the 90s next week.
