Temperatures will regain some strength as we round out the later half of the work week.

Highs on Thursday are expected to reach the low 80s for most.

Slightly cooler air will remain camped out in Northeastern Montana.

Smoke remains an issue once again today with air qualities boardering unhealthy.

Friday will offer up another day in the low 80s before an area of low pressure tracks our way from the North Pacific.

This pressure system will allow for still cooler air to settle in over Montana this weekend.

Forecast models are suggesting spotty rain late Friday and gradually becoming more widespread overnight.

The brunt of the moisture is expected to track through the state on Saturday.

A few spotty showers can't be ruled out on Sunday, however the core of this system should be out of the region.

Temperatures are trending in the low to mid 70s early next week.
