A few spotty showers can't be ruled out along the Rocky Mountain Front later this afternoon.
Widespread and heavy snow is on track to move in Saturday evening and last through the day on Sunday.
A big concern with this next winter storm will be the potential for blizzard like conditions.
Although not as bad as this last week, the wind will remain strong enough to cause limited visibility once the snow starts.
Temperatures will fall quite significantly as this weather system moves through the state, keeping highs in the 20s and 30s this weekend.
Forecast models are suggesting that there will be very significant snow accumulation with this next storm.
Total accumulations around 12 to 18 inches aren't out of the question from Cut Bank to Great Falls and further south to Helena.
Havre and Lewistown are trending around 18 to 24 inches.
The listed totals are through Monday morning.
A few heavier bands of snow are likely which could quite significantly increase the accumulations in some areas.
The snow is expected to taper off early Monday.
Temperatures following this system are expected to remain in the mid 20s next week.
