The mountains are expected to catch a round of snow, primarily above 5500 feet.
For this elevation and above, three to nine inches of snow is likely.
Heavier rain is likely around Lewistown with up to an inch of precipitation possible.
Showers will linger on Thursday before tapering off during the afternoon.
A passing cold front will keep temperatures just below average on Friday and possibly kick off an isolated shower or two.
Saturday is shaping up to be more mild with highs in the high 50 and low 60s.
