One more chilly day before temperatures begin to climb

Wednesday morning forecast with Jason Laird

and last updated

Wednesday will start out rather chilly before warmer air begins to move in on Thursday.

Daytime high temperatures on Wednesday will remain in the mid 30s for most.

Northeastern Montana on the other hand will stay in the teens.

A strong high pressure ridge will move this batch of colder air on its way; allowing for very mild weather to set in.

Temperatures will climb to the mid 40s and then the 50s as the weekend rolls around.

The trade off with the warmer temperatures will be an increase in wind.

Right now it doesn't appear that the wind will be overly strong; gusts around 25 to 30 mph can be expected through Friday.

The warmer and more mild conditions will stick around through the weekend.

Flurries are on track to return late Sunday into Monday.
