Due to a tight pressure gradient and a passing cold front, stronger wind is expected today.

Most of Central Montana will receive wind gusts above 50 mph early this afternoon.

Due to the extreme wind and likelihood of blowing dust, the National Weather Service is keeping a High Wind Warning in place through today.

Temperatures will remain slightly cooler compared to yesterday due to a passing cold front.

Warmer air will return as we near the weekend with temperatures reaching the low 60s on Friday.

But don't get to excited just yet, much colder air will settle in over the weekend.

This incoming system is expected to kick of a wintry mix on Saturday and keep temperatures chilly through Sunday.
