Sustained winds from the southwest are anticipated to range between 25 to 35 mph.
Gusts well over 60 mph are likely as well, especially along the immediate vicinity of the Rocky Mountain Front.
The strong wind will aid in warming the temperatures throughout the day.
Most areas are expected to range in the high 50s and low 60s this afternoon.
One of the factors helping to instigate the wind is a passing cold front.
This front will offer up a few mountains showers and or flurries.
Most of the moisture associated with this system is anticipated to stay in southwestern Montana.
This incoming cold air will allow for a chilly night for most with overnight lows trending in the low 30s.
Halloween will remain a bit cooler following this frontal passage.
Daytime highs are expected to remain in the mid to high 40s for most.
A strong high pressure is on track to move inland on Sunday.
This pressure system will continue to drive temperatures through the first portion of next week.
Forecast models are suggesting that we'll reach the low 60s early next week.
