Despite cooler temperatures the fire danger is on the rise

Temperatures are on track to trend much cooler over the next few days.

Highs will struggle to reach the 80s for most of our area on Friday.

More wind is on tap today which will greatly enhance the fire danger throughout North Central Montana.

Due the the low humidity levels, dry vegetation, and gusty wind a Fire Weather Warning has been put in pace for much of the state.

This warning is set to expire late this evening.

Temperatures will remain in the low 80s on Saturday with slightly breezy conditions.

Even cooler air will settle in on Sunday allowing for highs to remain in the mid 70s.

Temperatures are on track to rebound next week and once again reach the mid to high 80s.

This incoming high pressure ridges is expected to last through Thursday of next week.
