Despite a light breezy this week is trending pretty mild

Monday morning forecast with Jason Laird

Overall the week ahead is looking to be a relatively mild one with temperatures just above normal.

The reason for the mild conditions is due to a strong ridge of high pressure ridge located just to our west.

We will remain a bit breezy over the next few days since we're on the edge of this pressure system.

Highs on Monday are expected to be in the low 70s with occasional wind gusts around 20 mph.

Temperatures will climb to the high 70s on Tuesday as this ridge of high pressure continues to build.

A cold front will beat up on this ridge Tuesday evening and throughout the day Wednesday.

This incoming cold front will allow for temperatures to fall to the mid 60s on Wednesday.

Daytime high temperatures will regain some strength on Thursday returning to the low 70s.

The mild and slightly above average temperatures are expected to last through the weekend.
