The impacts of our next weather system will begin to make an appearance on Friday.

An area of low pressure currently located in the Pacific Ocean will begin to draw ample amounts of moisture over the Western United States.

This combined with the break down of our recent high pressure system will allow for cool and stormy conditions to kick off Friday afternoon.

Temperatures are expected to just break 80 degrees for most of Central Montana Friday.

Afternoon storms are expected to gradually become stronger as the weekend plays out.

Sunday will present the best possibility for severe thunderstorms.

Hail, damaging wind, and heavy periods of rain are likely.

Extreme cation should be used around fresh burn scars this weekend due to potential flooding.
