Temperatures will begin to fall off the charts as an aggressive cold front pushes through the state on Sunday.

The high temperatures for the day will happen very early on, possibly even before sunrise.

Flurries are likely following this front and temperatures will continue to fall throughout the day, eventually dropping below zero.

There will be a slightly better chance of snow on Monday, however overall accumulation is expected to stay below three inches for most.

Daytime high temperatures are expected to remain below zero for North Central Montana through Thursday.

Temperatures will remain slightly above zero in Southwestern Montana.

Forecast models are hinting that temperatures will return to more seasonal averages by next weekend.
