High pressure will allow for temperatures to climb well above average on Labor Day.

Daytime highs are expected to reach the mid to high 80s for most of the state.

An incoming cold front will allow for breezy conditions Monday and Tuesday.

Winds gusts are expected to be around 35 mph with an occasional gust of 50 mph in the immediate vicinity of the Rocky Mountain Front.

Lingering high pressure will keep temperatures in the high 80s through Wednesday.

This ridge is expected to begin breaking down on Thursday.

Cooler temperatures and rain is expected to wrap up the work week.
