As cold air continues to filter into Montana, temperatures are trending a bit cooler with highs in the low 30s.
A few early morning flurries are possible around the Capitol and are expected to taper off as the the day plays out.
The skies will clear this afternoon allowing for plenty of sun for a good portion of North Central Montana.
Another incoming low pressure system will allow for cold Canadian air to continue filtering into the state.
This will keep the temperatures below average as we head through the weekend.
Highs on Saturday are expected to be a touch cooler, peaking in the upper 20s and low 30s.
The calm but cold weather conditions will continue into Sunday with highs remaining in the low 30s.
Forecast models are indicating that next will trend cold and dry.
