Temperatures will rebound slightly, however an incoming cold front will drop them again this afternoon.

Stronger wind will bump today's highs to the mid 40s for most.

The batch of colder air is on track to begin impacting Central Montana around the noon hour.

Some spotty rain is likely early this afternoon and there is a potential for periods of a wintry mix.

Areas south of Great Falls will have the best potential for a mix or rain and snow, especially in the mountain passes.

Temperatures will fall following the passage of this front eventually dropping to the mid 20s overnight.

Saturday is shaping up to be relatively calm with temperatures in the low 30s

Forecast models are hinting at a few possible flurries later this weekend.

The strong high pressure ridge that has been dictating our weather will begin to break down a bit and move back into the Pacific.

This will help direct Pacific moisture and colder Canadian air into the state.

Late Sunday cold Canadian air will invade the state and meet up with a batch of Pacific moisture.

This will open the door for the potential for snow overnight and again on Monday.

Flurries appear pretty likely as we kick off a new work week with temperatures trending closer to average.

The cooler and more seasonably average weather is expected to last most if not all of next week.
